Last Wednesday we had a great discussion on Martin Luther’s views on the Book of James. Join us on Wednesday, March 11, 7:30 pm to discuss Luther’s perspective on the Apocrypha. What is the Apocrypha? How come it’s in some Bibles and not in others? What does it mean for us today? Come and find out!

Tenikka's Books for Kids Program is off to a GREAT start! Many new and gently used books have already been donated, but we have two more Sundays to go. Plenty of time to make your donations if you wish to do so. The Outreach Mission Team will be collecting book donations: March 8 and March 15.

This Sunday in worship, we lift up Mission House, the Jacksonville Beach day facility offering care and dignity to our unhoused neighbors. Through counseling, meals, clothing, showers, and medical services, Mission House walks alongside individuals seeking stability and renewed purpose. We also give thanks for HBPC’s ongoing support, as our church provides lunch once each month and dinner once a month. May our prayers strengthen their staff, volunteers, and all who come through their doors seeking hope and a new beginning.

We provided food to 473 clients, 266 homeless and helped 4 families financially. We received 5,714 pounds of food and distributed 7,514 pounds of food.

Our pantry needs are: hamburger, ground turkey, hot dogs, chicken, canned meats, chili, canned tomatoes, canned tuna, pasta sauce, jelly, canned fruit, canned pasta, dry milk, crackers, cereal/protein bars, peanut butter crackers, bar soap, clean T-shirts and gently used Bibles.

Please place any meat donations in the freezer in the church kitchen.

You have already received or will soon receive Pastor Jon’s letter announcing Rooted in Renewal, the theme for the 2026 Generosity focus. Session Committees are making plans for 2026, and we need an indication of your giving for 2026.
