“I’m Waiting God: Finding Blessing in God’s Delays” by Barb Roose
Find help and hope for times when it’s hard to wait on God.You know you’re supposed to “let go and let God,” and you’ve tried. But what’s taking so long? Why isn’t God answering your prayers? In I’m Waiting, God, a four-week Bible study for women, Barb Roose invites us to explore the stories of women in the Bible who had to wait for God.
If you feel anxious, angry, discouraged or depressed during this time of universal unrest, this study will offer you practical next steps in your time of waiting.
To get the most out of this study, it is recommended that you use the workbook ($10). Let Debbie Abbott (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you would like one, or you can order your own hard copy or E-book.
Wednesday Night Programming (1st and 3rd Wednesdays)
1st and 3rd Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Fellowship Hall
September through May a class or workshop will be lead by leaders with-in the church and by guest speakers from outside the church. Topics range from Biblical studies to relevant current topics.
Wednesday, September 16: “Bridging Differences”
What was Jesus doing when he met the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4? Can we learn anything about bridging differences from the story? Jacob’s well from the Bible is still there providing water as are the lessons of Jesus and the living water he offers us. Come Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m., and discover what God has for all of us.
Presbyterian Women in the congregation are organized into several small groups called Circles that meet regularly to provide an inclusive, caring community of women. The Circle is where faith is nurtured and growth takes place through worship, study, fellowship and outreach.
