The Wednesday Night Study has voted to pursue spirituality in art for the winter/spring. Join us in person or online as we reflect on paintings and the transformative things they can tell us about God. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month at 7:00 pm. The youth are doing a Gudrun for Seamark Ranch this Spring. The mission of this event is to raise money in support of the children who live at Seamark Ranch.

Seamark Ranch is a nurturing Christian home and family system that give children from families in crisis the tools they need for a brighter future. Through a family home model, a specialized residential school and the lessons of life on a working farm community, Seamark Ranch provides the ideal setting for love, stabilization, healing, education and empowerment.

For the safety of our church family policy requires us to conduct a background check on all volunteers every five years. We have sent background forms to new volunteers.  If you currently volunteer for our church and your check is more than five years old, we will update your status beginning January 28, 2025. If you do not wish to be subject to the check and so not continue to volunteer with Hodges, please alert the office.

The Women’s Bible Study group will be starting a new study in January. We look forward to reading the book Inspired by Rachel Held Evans. We meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall. All women are invited to join us. Books are $10.

Happy New Year! We were blessed with generous donations during the holidays. We received 8,464 pounds of food in December and gave out 6,829 pounds. We served 417 clients and 202 homeless. 

Pantry needs are: frozen hamburger and hotdogs, jelly, canned pasta, canned chili, canned tuna, saltines, canned and dry milk, tooth brushes, tooth paste, bar soap, toilet tissue, clean T-shirts and gently used Bibles.
