JUST JAMES

You’re invited to the exciting and engaging Bible study on the Book of James when it meets on Wednesday, September 9, 7:30-8:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. Come and discuss how and why James is still relevant to us. 

This Sunday, we will be praying for our mission partners, Jason and Ellisa Krumm, as they return to Soddo, Ethiopia with their children, Eliana and Gideon, following time in the United States with family. Pray for a smooth transition as Jason resumes work on the new medical building at Soddo Christian Hospital and Ellisa returns to serving in the obstetrics department. We also pray for God's guidance as plans continue to develop for a future family practice residency program. May God bless the Krumm family and the ministry they faithfully share with the people of Ethiopia.

We provided groceries to 484 clients, 191 homeless and helped 6 families financially in July. We received 6,689 pounds of food and distributed 7,992 pounds.

Pantry needs are: hamburger, ground turkey, hot dogs, chicken, canned meats, canned tuna, chili, canned tomatoes, pasta, pasta sauce, jelly, crackers, cereal/protein bars, dry potatoes, bar soap, toilet tissue, toothpaste, clean gently used T-shirts and Bibles.

Please place any meat donations in the freezer in the church kitchen.

You have already received or will soon receive Pastor Jon’s letter announcing Rooted in Renewal, the theme for the 2026 Generosity focus. Session Committees are making plans for 2026, and we need an indication of your giving for 2026.
