CALL TO CONFESSION (2 Chronicles 7:14)
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Almighty and merciful God, we have strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices of our own hearts. We have left undone the things we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done. Lord, have mercy on us. Grant, O merciful God, that we may live a holy, just, and humble life to the glory of your holy name. Amen.
ASSURANCE (Romans 6:4)
Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
And to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be:World without end. Amen. Amen.
ANTHEM – “The Family of God”
SPECIAL MUSIC – MEDITATION
PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION (Psalm 42:1-2)
As a deer longs for flowing streams, so our souls longs for you, O God. Our souls thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall we come and behold the face of God? Amen.
OLD TESTAMENT READING (Psalm 133:1-3)
How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord ordained his blessing, life forevermore.
NEW TESTAMENT READING (Acts 2:42-45)
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.
SERMON – “What of Easter?: Fellowship”
GIVING TO GOD (Matthew 6:19-21)
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE AND LORD’S PRAYER
God of glory, we praise you for your presence in our lives even in this pandemic, and for all goodness that you shower upon your children in Jesus Christ. Especially we thank you for the care we receive from others and the wonders of your creation.
God of grace, we are one with all your children, for we are sisters and brothers of Jesus Christ, and we offer our prayers for victims of the coronavirus and their caregivers, for those we too often forget, and for victims of tragedy and disaster.
As we abide in Christ, so we pray as he taught us, saying: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
CLOSING SONG – “We Won’t Be Shaken”
CLOSING PRAYER (Irish Blessing)
May the roads rise to meet you; may the wind be ever at your back; and until we meet again, may God always hold you in the palm of his hand. Amen.
