PRELUDE – “Meditation from the Sacred Opera Thais”

by Jules Massanent | Edward Latimer, vioin

PRAISE MUSIC – “Worthy Is Your Name”

Nurturing Father, thank you that as a mother loves her children, so it a one picture of the ways you love us.  We celebrate our mothers this morning, and the ways they represent you and teach us about you, all made possible through the giving of the ultimate sacrifice in Jesus Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

SING ALONG – “O Worship The King”

Sing Along

SING ALONG – “Indescribable”

Jordan Kennison

The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

We confess Lord that family relations may the hardest.  We sometimes hurt and take for granted the ones we love.  Forgive us Lord for not honoring the people in our lives who have tried to care for us.  Help us to love others, and particularly our close relations with the same care that you extend to us.  May we give as you have given.  Help us to represent you.  Amen.

ASSURANCE (Romans 8:1-2)

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Glory be to the Father,

and to the Son,

And to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning,

is now, and ever shall be:World without end. Amen. Amen.

DUET- “The Lord Is My Shepherd”

Debbie Abbott and Margaret Fulton, sopranos | Alice Harper, piano

O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.  Amen.

Praise the Lord.  Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.  Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.  Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.  Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer, . . . praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow

Praise Him, all creatures here below

Praise Him above the Heavenly host

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Loving Creator, thank you that you nurture and sustain all creation, including us.  We ask you to so provide for our needs that we can do the same for others in thanksgiving.  Use our gifts to show others your love.  Amen.

We praise you, God our creator, for your graciousness in giving us so much, including the women in our lives that have done so much for us.  Especially we thank you for the miracle of life and the wonder of living, and the treasure stored in every human life.

We dare to pray for others, God our Savior, claiming your love in Jesus Christ for the whole world.  As you cause the sun to rise, O God, bring the light of Christ to dawn in our souls and dispel all darkness.  In the light of Christ, we boldly pray the prayer he taught his disciples, saying: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

CLOSING PRAISE – “Your Grace is Enough”

CLOSING PRAYER (Psalm 20:4-5)

May God grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans.   May we shout for joy over your victory.  May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.  Amen.
