The Flowering of the Cross can be traced back to the 6th century. It is a beautiful way to symbolize the new life that emerges from Jesus's death on Good Friday. Please bring live flowers to Easter Sunday worship and pause to place them on the cross. It also makes a stunning photo op.

We are happy to say as a school we raised $1,600 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital this past February!
We ask for continued prayer for our preschool that we may continue to serve God in the way He desires.

to help in the nursery and with Children's Worship
As you may have noticed, our population of children has increased, which is a blessing. With the increased numbers we need folks to volunteer in the nursery as well as assist with Children's Worship. Both areas give you an opportunity to build relationships with our youngest members. Please ponder on giving one Sunday in a quarter to our children. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. JoAnne.

We continue to give thanks to the congregation’s response to our “Blessed to Be a Blessing” generosity campaign. We have received 53 pledges totaling $458,546. At this point we expect 2024’s total income to be $615,000 and total expenses to be at $676,000.
We hope to hear from those who have not responded as we continue to evaluate our expectations, before we complete our plan for next year.
Please consider your blessings, as we plan for next year, and how we at Hodges Boulevard Presbyterian Church may respond to God’s call.
If you have already submitted your 2024 Estimate of Giving, we thank you. If you have not, we ask you to please do so by submitting it by mail or online. We pray you will be generous in your giving to our church in the coming year.
