Adult Program:  The Four Steps of Lectio Divina – Lectio Divina is an ancient form of prayer that has stood the test of time; it is as popular today as ever among Christians. Lectio Divina provides an effective structure for the study of Scripture and a path to applying that study in our lives. Join guest presenter Margaret MacNaughton on Wednesday, December 12 for an opportunity to learn and practice the Lectio Divina method.

Children’s Program:  ”Living the Faith Brick By Brick”

Dinner this week will be catered by the Golden Corral on Southside Boulevard. They have a large variety of items on their menu and we look forward to a great dinner.

Margaret MacNaughton

Paths to God are as varied as the personalities of those who seek Him.Margaret MacNaughton is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner who works with groups to explore those paths. The exploration starts by recognizing that each seeker is a unique individual. By investigating the innate personality preferences recognized by Myers-Briggs, group participants discover how individuals view the world, and God, in different ways. From this base, conversations grow from topics such as Type & Spirituality and Temperament & Prayer.  Participants come away with ideas for ways to deepen their relationships with our Lord, and a respect for those who may prefer to take a different path.

Dinners are served most Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. You can sign up for dinner by filling in the form below or by calling the church office by 3:00 p.m. Monday. You may still come even if you didn’t sign up, but those with reservations will be served first. There should be enough food to go around, but sometimes we do run short for those not holding a reservation.

On Wednesday evenings we need volunteers to help with set-up, prep and/or cleanup with the dinner. Even if you can only help once, or once a month, or once every six months, we still need you.

After dinner there is a variety of classes and activities for all ages.

Nursery care is available.
