We offer groups for people of all ages and stages of life. You don’t have to have any special skill or talent to join, and we guarantee no one will quiz you on your knowledge of Leviticus upon your arrival. |
Night Out With Friends (NOWF)All Adults Spontaneous Gatherings TBA 6:00 p.m. This is a great way to meet new people in the church. Each month the group picks a different restaurant to try out. The purpose of the event is to have fun and make new friends. |
Betty’s BuddiesWidowed, Divorced, Single Senior Women 2nd Thursday Each Month @ 11:30 a.m. Food, fun and fellowship for single, divorced or widowed senior women. The group meets at the local restaurant for lunch. |
The Artist’s ColonyAdults—All Skill Levels Tuesday @ 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Fellowship Hall Beginner through seasoned painters are welcome. Great place to learn new techniques and painting styles. |
Spontaneous & Fabulous Craft ClassesAdults Whenever the Spirit Moves Us Throughout the year, the Spirit breathes into us a creative project that just has to be shared with others. Periodically we will announce different creative opportunities such as making jewelry, painting silk scarves, making prayer beads, knitting, and more. Do you have an art project or special craft to share? |

Church Picnic/Bar-B-Q & Kickball GameAll Ages Twice a Year after Church Nearby Park Families and friends bring picnic dishes to share. Some come for the comradery and some for the crazy kickball game that includes all ages. Be ready to laugh at some of the hilarious antics of all. |
Easter Egg Hunt and Journey Through Holy WeekAll Children Saturday before Easter Sunday @ 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Families gather in the front lawn of the Fellowship Hall for games, crafts and fun. In the sanctuary, everyone gathers for storytelling & instructions and the egg hunt begins! Then after the egg hunt, kids and families take their “passports” and journey through Holy Week stations listening to and participating in stories. Everyone is welcome. |
Sharks & Jumbo Shrimp GamesFans of All Ages Dates, Times and Locations TBD Go with a group of friends in the church van or caravan in different cars to a Jumbo Shrimp baseball game or Sharks indoor Arena football game. Reserve your ticket and your spot ahead of time as soon as you see the game announced in the bulletin or newsletter. |
Fall FestivalAll Ages Second Saturday in October @ 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. One-day event in the Fall that reaches into the community and provides good old fashioned fun, hot dogs, general hilarity for all generations. It truly is a joyful celebration for our church family, the Preschool families and the community. |
Advent Night & Chili Cook-offAll Ages First Sunday in December @ 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Each family brings a pot of chili to share. Alternative Shopping Christmas Market, special Christmas crafts and lots of carol singing are the order of the evening. Children and Adults alike will find something fun and meaningful to do.
